Place shapes on an 8x8 board

Block Blast! gives you differently shaped blocks to drag onto an 8x8 board. A piece stays where you place it, so you can look at the available space before making a move. The round continues as long as there is room for the next shapes.

Clear rows and columns

You clear blocks by filling a complete horizontal row or vertical column. Clearing more than one line with a single placement can remove more space at once. This makes each piece useful for both immediate clears and later moves.

Build combos through consecutive clears

You can create combos by clearing lines on consecutive turns. Planning back to back clears can improve your score while preventing the grid from becoming crowded. However, a move that clears one line is not always the best choice if it blocks space needed for a larger shape.

Choose between Classic style play and goals

Block Blast! includes open ended, Classic style sessions where the aim is to beat your personal best. It also offers Adventure Mode with themed stages that become more difficult as you progress. In addition, Daily Challenges and goals provide objectives for players who prefer a defined task.

Play without a Wi Fi connection

You can play this offline puzzle game without an internet connection. This is useful when travelling, commuting, or taking a break where mobile data is unavailable. Since the game is single player, each round moves at your own pace.

What to know before installing Block Blast!

Block Blast! is free to play and includes ads, with optional in app purchases available. Ad frequency and ad length can vary between sessions and versions. Playing offline may reduce interruptions from ads that need a network connection, although this does not guarantee an ad free experience.

Your records and achievements are stored locally on the device. If you uninstall the game or clear its app data, saved scores and progress may be erased. Consider this before removing the app if you want to keep your current results.

How to play Block Blast!

Each round starts with an open board and a selection of shapes to place. The goal is to keep making room while clearing complete lines. The Block Blast! APK uses drag controls, so you can make each placement directly on your Android screen.

1. Open the game and choose a Classic style session, Adventure Mode stage, or available Daily Challenge.

2. Look at all of the shapes shown before dragging the first one, then check which spaces on the board can hold them.

3. Drag a shape onto an empty area of the 8x8 board and release it when it is in the position you want.

4. Complete a full row or column to clear it, then use the new space for the remaining shapes.

5. Keep central areas and useful lanes open, reserve room for larger pieces, and set up consecutive line clears when possible.
