Open web addresses directly
Downloader lets you enter a full web address and open the corresponding webpage inside the app. From there, you can follow a direct download link when one is available. This is useful for files such as APKs, documents, music, videos, and other downloadable items offered by a website.
Search and browse in one app
Downloader includes a built-in browser for visiting websites without switching to another app. You can also use Google Search to look for webpages or direct file links. Once you find the page you need, the app can begin the download from the same browsing session.
Use Short Codes on TV devices
Downloader supports numeric Short Codes created through the AFTVnews URL Shortener. You can enter a Short Code instead of typing a long web address with a TV remote. This can make navigation easier on Android TV downloader and Fire TV downloader setups where entering text takes longer.
Handle downloaded files
The app stores files on your device and provides an integrated file manager for handling them. You can open a downloaded file, remove a file you no longer need, or select an APK file for installation. As a result, the download and file handling steps stay within Downloader.
